I HAVE DECIDED TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE!
The traditional family, led by a father and mother in the home, is almost gone in our community. Society pays a high price for this deterioration of God’s design, but children suffer the most. We must educate our parents to understand the standards God has set up for raising children in this chaotic world. I believe we can make a difference. I’ve decided to make a difference! Will you join me?

THE MOVEMENT
The family is in a state of decline and confusion throughout our society. As goes the family, so goes the community, city, state and nation. Within the black community, we now have a
growing number of families led by homosexuals and others with abnormal lifestyles and
behaviors who insist on creating alternate families, leaving many young people wondering,
“What is a family?” How can we change this? By applying God’s standards, Generations
Conference seeks to educate the parents and reach the children to transform the society. Join
the movement, and together we will change our culture through God’s principles of biblical
parenthood!
TRANSFORM THE FAMILY. CHANGE THE FUTURE.

AFRICAN AMERICAN CHURCHES TRANSFORMING SOCIETY (AACTS) PRESENTS
Tic Tock! S.O.S.
SAVE OUR SOULS
TIME IS RUNNING OUT
The root cause of many of the social problems challenging the African American community can be traced back to the breakdown of the African American family structure. The increase of female-headed households and the lack of a father figure in the home or extended family contributes to the poor academics performance and problem behaviors of students in school. A father figure is not only important for boys, but research has shown that it is also important in the rearing of girls. There are many ills in the African American community such as high rates of crime, substance abuse, teenage pregnancy, HIV/AIDS, etc.
If we are to answer the S.O.S. (Save Our Souls) signal of the African American community, we must return to our foundation - our faith and sense of community.
The dichotomous mission of the African American church is:
Out of the African American Church came our schools, businesses and social organizations. The African American Church, since integration, has mostly focused on one aspect of its mission (spiritual). Only a small percentage of churches embrace its responsibility to address the social ills of its people. It's time to come together to develop a plan of action to answer the distressed S.O.S. call coming from African American communities across this nation.
IT'S TIME TO TAKE ACTION!
I'm calling all African American church and community leaders to join forces to help turn our community around. To see true spiritual and social-economic change in the African American community the church has to rise up and take action. I'm inviting some of the leading voices to join me at this conference to help guide as we cause lasting positive change in our community.
